How can Copilot auto-create subtasks from chat messages?

Height streamlines team communication by organizing collaborative chats. During strategy sessions, teams can share ideas and deliverables directly in the chat for clarity. Copilot instantly converts these comments into subtasks for efficient project planning.

  • To turn lengthy messages into actionable subtasks, hover over the message, click the 3 dots, and select Generate subtask under Copilot.

  • Copilot will begin parsing the selected message and generate a set of suggested subtasks that highlight the primary actions. If the suggested subtasks capture the necessary deliverables, click Create x subtasks to instantly create individual subtasks that you can begin working on.

  • If you don't want Copilot to create all of the suggested tasks, uncheck the ones you don't want created. Once created, each of the subtasks will be listed in the Subtasks section of the task for immediate access.

  • There will be a hyperlinked activity message in the chat of each subtask stating that the task was created by Copilot from a message.

THE NERD CORNER 🤓

Transfer Learning vs. Training From Scratch. Transfer Learning adapts pre-trained networks to new tasks, capitalizing on prior knowledge. In contrast, Training from Scratch begins with a blank slate, tailored specifically to a task but demanding more data. While transfer methods can be efficient and resource-saving, they may inherit biases. On the other hand, starting from scratch offers neutrality, yet demands vast resources.
