THE NERD CORNER 🤓

Neural Turing Machines (NTMs) merge the adaptability of neural networks with the memory access prowess of Turing machines. Developed by DeepMind researchers, NTMs consist of a neural network controller, typically an RNN or LSTM, paired with a large, addressable memory matrix. Using attention mechanisms, the controller can read from or write to this memory in a differentiable manner, enabling the entire system to be trained with gradient descent. This unique blend enhances the machine's ability to learn algorithms or sequences, making it especially skilled at tasks that demand structured data handling or sequence reasoning.
